First Week’s Sale Of Health Stamps PA WELLINGTON, Oct. 11. The fact that the first week’s sales of health stamps realised £93,902 was magnificent and an outstanding tribute to all who worked to make the campaign a success, said the Postmastergeneral, Mr Broadfoot, this morning. Figures for the postal districts are:— Auckland, £13,164; Blenheim, £704; Christchurch, £12,749; Dunedin, £10,553; Gisborne, £2280; Greymouth, £1765; Hamilton, £6948; Invercargill, £3461; Masterton, £1385;. Napier, £2914; Nelson, £1402; New Plymouth, £2430; Oamaru, £951; Palmerston North, £5352; Thames, £3487; Timaru. £2562; Wanganui, £3829; Wellington, £ 11,783; Westport, £369; Whangarei, £1759; stamps branch. General Post Office. £4055.
