GOOD RESPONSE
PA WELLINGTON, Sept. 26. Recruiting for the police force has met with a good response and the force itself is now reaching a more satisfactory position, said the Commissioner of Police, Mr J. Bruce Young, today. Though the medical examinations are rigid and other entry qualifications are high, the many applications enable the force to select enough suitable candidates.
