HAMPDEN RSA
There was a large attendance of returned men at the annual reunion of the Hampden RSA. The excellent work of the branch in attending to the interests of returned servicemen was freely acknow ledged by various speakers, including the Mayor, Mr W. A. Murcott, the Rev. I. G. Ryburn, and Messrs R. N. Paterson. A. C. Piper, D. J. Ross and J. Dungey, ’ and appreciation was expressed of the cooperation of the North Otago Soldiers' Aid Association, Toe H, South African Veterans, North Otago Zone Patriotic Committee, and the War Amputees’ Association. Musical items were contributed by Messrs James Milne, J. Hepburn, C. Heenan and A. Nuttall, the accompaniments being played by Mr G. Freed.
