BLOOD DONORS’ LIST

Excellent Response To Appeal

“ I am glad to be able to say that we now have over 400 names on the blood donors’ list,” Dr A. O. E. Gilmour, acting medical superintendent at the Oamaru Public Hospital, said at yesterday’s meeting of the Waitaki Hospital Board. “ This is a good response to our recent appeal for donors, and the state of emergency with respect to the blood bank has now been overcome."

Dr Gilmour expressed thanks to the people who had volunteered, to those who had assisted with the publicity in connection with the appeal, and to all the associations and organisations who had responded to his letter
