Wellington Second To Christchurch PA WELLINGTON, July 4. Wellington takes second place to Christchurch in gate receipts for the Rugby test matches this year against the British Isles. These estimates were placed before tonight’s meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington Rugby Union. With odd amounts still to come in, the takings reported by the secretary, Mr O. L. Wrigley, showed £5437 for bookings and £4353 at the gates, a total of £9790. The Christchurch gate was £ll,lOO and the attendance 41,000.
