Special to the Dally Times CHRISTCHURCH, July 4. The weather was cold but fine for the work at Rlccarton this morning. The No. 6 grass track was open, but a batch of jumpers provided most of the interest. St. Nat and Responsive were the first pair to jump, being mates over four hurdles, St. Nat gave a good display, drawing away from Responsive, whose jumping was not impressive. She was safe, but jumped big and slowly. Moonlit and Angora also went over four hurdles The former shaped very well, but after going over the first two Angora gradually dropped .back, just Scrambling over the last flight. Kosciusko shaped exceptionally well, by himself, over five steeplechase fences. He Is due to race at Waimate next week. Jolyon was sent over three brush fences, which he cleared In good style.
