NO REPRESENTATIVES
PA AUCKLAND. May 16. A decision not to send representatives to the special committee which is being appointed by the Minister of Labour, Mr Sullivan, to consider improved methods of working the Port of Auckland is reported to have been made by the Auckland Waterside Workers’ Union. The invitation was discussed at the monthly stop-work meeting today, and it is understood the union is preparing a statement for the press, explaining its attitude. The committee will meet tomorrow morning.
