Charge Against Naval Ratings PA AUCKLAND, May 13. Two naval ratings from the frigate Rotoiti were charged in the'Magistrate’s Court today, one with the theft of a Mauser pistol belonging to Lieu-tenant-commander A. C. H Blomfield, r N commander of the Rotoiti. the other with armed assault with intent to rob Jack Lipanovich on May 2 They were James O Gorman, aged steward, and Francis Perkins, aged 25, an able seaman. , , , Both accused wer remanded to appear on May 22. O’Gorman was allowed bail on two sureties of £75.
