Truman Knows Nothing Of Flying Saucers

Rec. 11.59 p.m. NEW YORK, Apl. 5. President Truman had no knowledge whatsoever of the existence of the so-called “ flying saucers,” the Presidential press secretary, Mr Charles Ross, said in Key West (Florida) today. He added that neither the President nor members of his staff knew of any such mysterious objects either as a secret weapon of this or any other country. “We are not denying this because of any development of secret weapons, but purely because we know of nothing to support the rumours,” said Mr Ross.
