The South Island Model Aero Club’s championships will be held at King George's Park on Saturday, when the control line flying and aerobatic sections will be decided. On Sunday, at Ferry road, the free flight events will be held, and again at King George’s Park on Monday the finals of the control line and aerobatics will be decided. The North Otago Bowling Centre’s ter tournament will begin at 8.45 a.m. today with the Singles play. The Fours will start tomorrow. The post-section play in both grades will commence on Monday, and the finals will be played on Tuesday.

The biggest amateur athletic meetings to be held in North Otago for some time will take place at Maheno oil Saturday and at Oamaru on Monday. Many prominent visiting athletes will be participating. The Enfield picnic sports will be held at the Enfield Domain on Monday. The rowing season will be brought to a close with the final regatta at Queenstown. Oamaru crews, as in past years, will take part in this event. A team representing Oamaru Cricket Clubs will make its annual tour of the Central Otago districts. Matches will be played against Naseby, Ranfurly. Patearoa and a combined team. The North Otago Men’s Golf Club will hold a medal round, commencing at 12.3 a p.m., at the local links on Saturday. The Oamaru Defence Rifle Club will hold a practice shoot at the Federal range on Saturday.
