TWO ROAD ACCIDENTS

PA NELSON, Apl. 5. While two constables were on their way to inquire into an accident today their taxi was involved in a collision with a car the occupants of which were, driving to a wedding. The driver of the private car, S. Sutton, of the Franz Josef Hotel, was admitted to the Public Hospital with concussion and shock. The driver of the car in the earlier accident, E. Small, of Tipahi street, Nelson, was also taken to hospital with lacerated wounds of the scalp. Constables J. E. O'Regan and K. Satherley received minor injuries. One went on to the first accident, while the other took over point duty to direct the rapidly accumulating traffic past the damaged taxi-
