Increase In Australian Labour Force

Rec. 9 p.m. CANBERRA. Mar. 22. The Australian labour force has now reached a record total of 2,495,600 —an increase of 86,300 in the past year. Those employed comprise 1,821,900 males and 673,700 females. Factory employment rose during January by 4700 to 642,700.
