EARLY CONSIDERATION

Overseas Representation

PA WELLINGTON. Mar. 22. New Zealand representation overseas is a question to which the Gov--.ernment intends to give 'lull considera- ’ tion at an early date. An indication that the Government would be in a position to do this, after discussions with the High Commissioner for New Zealand in London, Mr W. J. Jordan, and the return of the High Commissioners in Ottawa and Canberra, Messrs J. Thorn and J. G. Barclay, respectively, was given this evening by the Prime Minister, Mr Holland. Mr Jordan, whose term of appointment expires in August of next year, will leave London at the end of the month for a brief visit to the Dominion for consultations with the New Zealand Government. Messrs Thorn and Barclay will both complete their terms • of appointment next month.
