DEFENCE RIFLES The Oamaru Defence Rifle Club will hold a practice shoot at 500 and 600 yards at the Federal range on Saturday. The Ngapara Club will hold a further round in the J. B. HOMING PIGEONS The Oamaru Homing Pigeon Club will fly a further race in its young bird programme from Ashburton on Saturday. LAWN TENNIS A further lawn tennis representative match will be played on Saturday, when Otago will meet North Otago at the grass courts at 10.30 a.m.
