Considerate Children

The kindness of two little girls to a cat and her blind kitten dfew high praise from a member of the Blue Cross Society who rang the Daily Times last night to express her appreciation. The member had seen the girls taking a saucerful of milk under a ramp at the Dunedin ’Railway Station. On investigation she found the cat with the kitten which was completely blind. The unfortunate strays are now being cared for at the society’s home in York Place but as the children were not present when the removal was effected the member hopes that this tribute will be read by them so that they will know their adopted pets are in good hands.
