Messrs W. E. Hall and D. F. Salter, of the Money Order and Savings Bank Department at the Post Office, have been transferred to Dunedin and Westport respectively. A motion of appreciation of the services rendered by Bro. J. F. Beeden to the Scout movement in North Otago was passed at Wednesday night’s meeting of the North Otago Boy Scouts' Association. Bro. Beeden, who has returned to Australia. worked with the St. Kevin’s troop and St. Thomas’s and St. Patrick's Cub packs while in Oamaru.
