The radio added that the Bao Dai Government would never be recognised by the Viet Namese people because they had already pronounced their verdict by demanding capital punishment against him for betraying his country three times. It was astonishing, the broadcast said, that the United States and Britain believed that international recognition and more material aid would enable the Bao Dai Government to pass as truly representative of the Viet Namese people.
