STOLEN LAUNCH

CREW LANDS ON WRONG ISLAND NZPA—Copyright Rec 11 p.m. APIA, Feb. 4. It is reported that the motor launch, Gaumatau, with its name changed to Vincent and owned by Messrs O. F. Nelson and Co, which was said to have been taken from Apia on January 2 without authority has arrived at Tau Island, in the Manua group. The crew is stated to have thought that Tau was Tahiti and had no intention of surrendering when boardedl The vessel is reported to be in good condition. . The launch Calmar, with police and a recovery crew, was despatched immediately advice was received from the governor of American Samoa. Both launches are returning to Apia tomorrow morning.
