LONDON DOCK CLERKS’ DISPUTE ENDED

Rec. 9 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 30. After a stormy four-hour meeting last night, tally clerks at King George V dock, whose, strike stopped the unloading of foodstuffs from New Zealand and Australia from four ships, decided to resume work today. The industrial correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says that they agreed to accept the recruitment of seventy new clerks, about whose engagement the dispute arose, but to oppose further recruitment.
