OUTBUILDING RAZED
FIRE AT ALEXANDRA Special to the Daily Times ALEXANDRA, Dec. 29. Prompt action by the Alexandra Volunteer Fire Brigade saved a sixroomed house from being burned to the ground this morning. When the brigade arrived at 9 a.m. an outbuilding was burning rapidly, the fire apparently being caused by a lighted copper catching some clothing. The firemen soon had the flames under control and although the outbuilding was gutted the nearby house was saved. The Public Works Department owns the house which is at present occupied by Mr J. Brown of Dunedin. . „
