ACCIDENTAL CLASH
BRITISH TROOPS AND GURKHAS IN MALAYA NZPA—Copyright Rec. 11.30 p.m. SINGAPORE, Dec. 28. A British private was killed and a British officer and another private seriously wounded last night in an accidental clash between a patrol of Green Howards and a patrol of Gurkhas near Mentakab, in Pahang. Both parties thought one another to be guerrillas.
