NEW ASSOCIATION

GREEN ISLAND RATEPAYERS More than 30 people were present in St. Mark’s Hall, Green Island, last night when the Green Island Borough Ratepayers’ Association was formed. The newly-elected chairman, Mr A. It was decided to have a committee meeting during the week-end to arrange a further general meeting to be held soon after Christmas. The election of officers resulted: Chairman. Mr Lake; vice-chairman. Mr J. Fox, Concord; secretary, Mr R. J. Deason. Abbotsford; committee— Mrs J. F. Robertson (Burnside), Messrs Fox, E. Bremner (Green Island), and E. P. Browu (Abbotsford).
