VISIT TO INDIA

German Aircraft Designer

N ZP A—Reuter—Copyright BERLIN, Dec. 7.

Professor Willi Messerschmitt, the German aircraft designer, will go to India to discuss “his new construction methods for prefabricated houses,” his secretary said in Munich today. He was commenting on a statement in New Delhi that the Indian Government had secured his services. The visit, said the secretary, had nothing to do with aircraft designing or building. The professor has not been working on such designs for a long time, he saicj.

The Denazification Court in 1948 classified Messerschmitt as a Nazi fellow traveller and fined him £SO.
