Crime Comic Books Banned In Canada
Rec. 9 p.m, OTTAWA, Dec. 7. A Bill banning'"•ime comic books in Canada was passed today by the Senate in spite of heavy opposition. Previously approved by the House of Commons, the. Bill provides a maximum penalty of two years’ imprisonment for anyone publishing, distributing or selling crime comic books. It exempts comic strips in newspapers.
