ASSISTANCE TO BE OFFERED
SERVICEMEN’S SETTLEMENT AMENDMENTS INSTITUTE OF VALUERS PA AUCKLAND, Dec. 8. The. Institute of Valuers is to offer the National Government assistance in any contemplated amendments to the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act. This was decided at the eleventh annual meeting of the institute held in Auckland tonight. Speakers pointed out that Mr Holland had indicated that the Act would receive early attention. The president, Mr J. A. Wilson (Otago), reported that the membership for this year was a record, standing at 892. The following officers were elected: President. Mr O. Monrad (Palmerston North); vice-presidents, Messrs L. E. Brooker and J. A. Macalister (Wellington); auditor, Mr C. E. Sanders.
