FATAL INJURIES
MILL MANAGER STRUCK BY TREE LIMB PA INVERCARGILL, Dec. 8. John Robert Mason, bush manager of the Groveburn sawmill, Tuatapere, died after being struck on the back by the falling limb of a tree on Wednesday. He was assisting road clearing operations through bush country. The only person near the scene was the driver of a bulldozer who did not see the accident. Mason, aged 36, leaves a wife and two children.
