VALUABLE FILLY FOUND SHOT
PA WELLINGTON, Dec. 8. A two-year-old chestnut Ally by Tiderace from Aroma, owned by , Mr J. J. Maher, M.P., and his son, Mr S. Maher, was found dead on Mr Maher’s farm at Mungaroa today. Death had been caused by a bullet. The Upper Hutt police are investigating/ The filly was bred by her owners and was offered for sale as a yearling at Trentham last January, but she failed to reach the reserve, and was passed in at 225gns.
