WATER SUPPLY
Kakanui Proposition
A public meeting at Kakanui on Wednesday discussed the possibilitv of providing a water supply for residents fflrom the Kakanui River. Crs W. M. Cooper, R. N. Patterson, and tne county engineer, Mr B. H. Horner, were in attendance. It was ultimately decided to ask the Waitaki County Council to investigate the project with a view to obtaining a Government subsidy.
