SALE OF HOTEL AT CROMWELL

The Otago Land Valuation Committee yesterday heard an application by Sidney Denis Vincent (Mr G. INI Lloyd) to sell the Golden Age Hotel, Cromwell, tot David Kenneth Bryan, at a consideration of £15,500, plus stock in trade, plant and furniture at valuation. The application was contested by the Crown, vMch was represented by Mr J. R. HaX.ton. The committee —Messrs Garth Gallaway (chairman), D. J. Ross and E. Sincook —reserved its decision. The hotel was purchased in 1947 for £14,750.
