\ PERIDOT WINS THE OJP SPRINT TO THE HOB PA TIMARU. Oct. 18. The Geraldine Racing Club’s spring meeting was held in hot weather and the track was in excellent order, although a gusty nor-west wind whipped up dust. The totalisator handled £23,572 10s, compared with £28.453 10s for the corresponding meeting last year. Following are the results:— Rangatita Hurdles, of £2OO.
