At the annual meeting of the Otago
Road Transport and Motor and Horse Drivers and their Assistants' Industrial Union of Workers last night, Mr A. W. Milne was in the chair. The question of affiliation with the Transport Workers’ Federation was referred to the incoming executive for discussion. _ . ~ Officers elected were:—President, Mr H. Brown; vice-president, Mr N. Lindsay; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. F. Rees; committee —Messrs E. Early, Newman, Lough, Brugh Spence, Benfell, Hayes, Walker, Todd, Mansfield, N. Donaldson and Bray; minute secretary, Mr Early; delegates to OLRC—Messrs A. P. Rees, Brown, J. Haves N. Donaldson. P. Bray and E. Todd;' delegates to Trades Council— Messrs Brown, Brugh, Lindsay, Bray, and Todd: delegates to Transport Workers’ Federation. Messrs Brown and Rees; delegates to Oamaru meeting—Messrs Lough, Lindsay, Newman and Rees
