Dominion Championships PA WELLINGTON, Sept. 26. Four of the 77 entrants for the New Zealand amateur boxing championships which opened to-day were either over-weight or medically unfit. A high standard of boxing was seen in the first-round bouts which occupied the afternoon and evening sessions. Details:— Fly-weight First Round.—J, O’Connor (Canterbury)® 7.11 J beat J. Johnston (Wellington) 7.6 on points. Feather-weight First Round.—B. Brown (Dannevirke) 8.11 beat J. McNally (Otago) 8.12 J on points; D. Glozier (Southland) 8.131 beat R. C. McCarthy (Auckland) 8.123 on points; W. Patterson (Hawke's Bay) 8.13 beat C. S. Hay (Ashburton) 8.113 on points; O. Smith (Taranaki) 8.0.1 beat P. Saunders (Wellington) 8.133 on points. Light-weight First Round. —C. Ball (Manawatu) 9.63 beat B. Eder (Greymouth) 9.8 on points; F. Wilson (Wairarapa) 9.33 beat R. McEwan (Auckland) 9.7 J on points after the judges had disagreed; R.
