CHANGE OF STATUS FOR SOUTH AFRICANS

Rec. 8 p.m. CAPE TOWN, May 24. South Africans will cease to be described as “British subjects” under a new Bill to be presented to Parliament. The South African , Nationality Bill, of which notice was given in the House of Assembly, proposes to change the status of South Africans to “ South African citizens.”
