PRIVATE AIRLINE’S RECORD
Rec. 9 p.m. MELBOURNE, May 12. The 3,000,000 th passenger to fly by Australian National Airways was presented with a gold watch and travelling cases by the company’s managing director, Mr l. Holyman. The passenger flew from Sydney to Melbourne yesterday. Australian National Airways, which is a private company, is the only airline in the British Empire to have carried 3,000,000 passengers, 100,0000001 bof freight, and to . have flown 1,500,000,000 passenger miles.
