Graduates Luncheon at Home Science School

Autumn flowers and foliage decorated the room for the annual luncheon reception for graduates of the Home Science School on Tuesday. Many parents attended the luncheon, which was held at the school, and was prepared and served by the students. The Dean of the Faculty, Dr Elizabeth Gregory, received and welcomed the guests, and the Pro-Chancellor of the University of New Zealand, Mr L. J. Wild, congratulated this year’s graduates.

Among the guests of honour were Mr and Mrs Wild, the Chancellor of the University of Otago, the Very Rev. Dr D. C. Herron, and Mrs Herron, Dr and Mrs W. N. Benson. Mr and Mrs E. Partridge, Mr and Mrs J. W. Hayward. Professojr A. G. Strong Mrs R. S. Aitken, Mrs Hi Chapman, Mrs McNeill, Mrs Ann Stevenson. Dr Muriel Bell, Dr Marion Whyte, Mrs Thompson (Australia), and Miss M.
