National Party Function

The combined women’s section of the New Zealand National Party in the Dunedin city electorates held its first afternoon function for 1949 on Wednesday last.

Mrs J. Campbell, chairwoman of the St. Kilda Women’s Committee, gave an address on “ Some Aspects of Communism.” Mrs A. Middleton presided over a good attendance. A vote of thanks was accorded Mrs Campbell on the motion of Mrs Hinkley.
