RECORD COLLECTION
The Crippled Children Society will benefit by a little more than £I2OO as the result of the Capping day appeal. It was expected to be a record collection, slightly exceeding last year’s total of £I2OO. Several days will elapse before the final returns are known. Even late -last night collectors were still shaking Kieir tins and crying “Just a penny.”
