BENEDICTION TO VIEWERS NZPA—Reuter—Copy right PARIS, Apl. 17. “We expect the most far-reaching consequences from television by the ever-more-dazzling revelation of truth to fair minds,” said the Pope after he was televised to-day for the first time. The French television service transmitted a film which was sent from the Vatican. The Pope, at the close of the film, gave his benediction to viewers.
