WESTERN “RAD MAN”
MODEL FOR AUSTRALIAN YOUTH NZPA—Copyright SYDNEY, Apl. 18. A youth of 16, who modelled himself on the western “ bad man ” of the films, has been captured by the police after a search through the Riverstone scrub lasting several days. During the hunt the police seized a horse, two saddles, a bicycle, riding boots, and the latest in sombrero headgear. It is alleged in the past fortnight the boy spent £75 on this outfit and clothing. The money was “earned” by holding up shopkeepers.
