AIR TRAVEL
NEW SERVICES BEGIN NORTH ISLAND CENTRES DIRECT LINK WITH DUNEDIN New air travel facilities for Otago residents will come into force to-day. The new schedule was released to the Daily Times last night by Mr J. C. Fleming, officer in charge at Dunedin for the National Airways Corporation. The new time table enables passengers to fly in one day to many centres where previously two days were necessary. For example, a daily service is now possible to such centres as Napier, Gisborne, Tauranga, and Rotorua. The growing air network stretching between Dunedin and Auckland is shown in the schedule that operates every day ex'fcept Sunday. The services available as from to-day (departure times from Taieri, and times of arrival at destinations being shown) are:—
