Waitaki Sub-union
Delegates from all clubs were present at the annual meeting of the Waitaki Rugby Sub-union, at which Messrs Strachan, Low, and Firman, of the North Otago Union, also attended. The annual report and balance sheet, which showed that a succesful season had been experienced, with an improved financial position, were adapted. The following officers were elected; —President, Mr A. Dobson; selectors—Messrs Simpson. Grant, and Laird; delegates to the North Otago Union. Messrs Strachan and Low. The appointment of secretary was held over till next meeting, as Mr J. Johnston declined reappointment. \ grant of £lO was made to the Kurow Club to assist in the installation of showers at Kurow. A full discussion took place on the town and country combined competition, and tii'- partio nation of four country tennis in the eomretition this season was assured.
it was agreed to try lo form a referees’ sub-association this year, with headquarters at Duntrocn.
