TENNIS MATCH WITH MANIOTOTO Special to the Daily Times RANFURLY, Mar. 27. The annual tennis match between Otago and Maniototo, played here yesterday, was won by Otago by 13 rubbers to 11. Play was marred by extremely cold weather, and intermittent showers of rain and hail caused a number of stoppages and delays while courts dried out. The match was, however, completed. Even when games were in progress, a bitterly cold southerly wind swept the court and made good tennis an impossibility. The number of games and sets in each match varied according to the weather at the time. Results (Otago names first): —Men’s Singles: D. Radford beat V. Donnelly, 9—5; Pearce lost to Haig, 7-—9; Fielding beat Weir, 9—6; R. Ogg beat Howell, 9—B; Rudkin beat Peat, 9—6: Lees beat Naylor, 9—2. Women’s Singles.—Miss M Pyle beat Miss C. Harvev. 9—5; Miss P. Harvey beat Mrs O'Gorman, 9—7; Miss Lamb beat Miss Glassford, 9—B; Miss Parker lost to Miss J. Harvey. 2—G. o—6: Miss McStay lost to Miss Morgan. 5—9; Mrs Pearce lost to Miss Flynn, 2—9. Men's Doubles.—Radford and Pearce lost to Donnelly and Haig, 3—7; Fielding and Ogg beat Weir and Howell, 9—2; Rudkin and Lees beat Peat and Naylor. Women's Doubles.—Misses Pyle and P.
