This flock was founded in March. 1935, by the purchase of 16 three and fourshear Ewes from Donald Grant (FB19) and 7 one-shear Ewes from McFarlane Bros. (F 8544). They were mated with “ Downlands RG2O ” and Elloughton No. 12A of 1939. Since then the sires used have been from the flocks of A. G. Ward, Colonel Findlay, H. M. Copland, and Lincoln College.
