First Special Train For Three Years

The first special train for about three years to run outside the Dunedin suburban railways’ area left the city Railway Station at 7.40 yesterday morning. The train took 80 passengers from Dunedin to the race meeting at Oamaru and by the time it reached its destination there were 150 persons on board. The train returned to Dunedin about 9 o’clock last night.
