VICTIM OF LODESTAR DISASTER NZPA Special Correspondent „ „ LONDON. Mar. 22. Mr W E. Perkins, who was killed in the Lodestar air crash at Waikanae, near Wellington, on Friday last, is reported to have won £37,000 in a football pool in England. The parents of Mrs Perkins, Mr and Mrs J. Collins, of Birmingham, only learned of the win after the report of the disaster. In the reports of the crash Mr and Mrs Perkins were stated to be visitors from England who were staying at Day’s Bay, Wellington.
