CARPENTERS' EXECUTIVE

REQUEST FROM FEDERATION IPA WELLINGTON. Mar.. 11. Thb national council of the 1 New Zealand Carpenters and Joiners’ Union will meet in Wellington on Sunday morning for consideration of the latest developments in the dispute. In particular, the council will be concerned with the request from the New Zealand Federation of Labour that the dispute should be handed over to the federation. A meeting of the Auckland executive of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants will be held in Auckland on Monday "to consider the developments as they affect railwaymen. The national president of the society, Mr J. S. Barton, will be present.
