Sir,—During a recent conversation with a visitor from England I was amazed to learn of the widespread interest the people of the Old Country are taking in the Barling fat scheme to augment their meagre rations. I think the British Council, which invited our worthy Mayor to their shores, should also invite Mr Philip Barling in recognition of his selfsacrificing efforts on behalf of the gallant people of the United Kingdom.—l am, etc.. Fat for Britain.
