AUSTRALIAN FARMERS

TO STUDY NEW ZEALAND METHODS

PA WELLINGTON, Jan. 17/ To study New Zealand farming methods, a party of 58 New South Wales farmers arrived at Wellington in the Wanganella to-day. The visit has been organised by the Rural Tours Committee of New South Wales and the New Zealand Tourist Department, in conjunction with the Federated farmers and the National Pig Council. Accompanying the party are 14 members of New South Wales country women’s organisations. Several visits to rest homes and other places of interest to women have been arranged for them by the Women’s Division of the Federated Farmers. A group of South Australian farmers is expected to make a similar tour in March.
