NEW SETTLERS’ INTEREST PA * WELLINGTON, Jan. 14. The variety of questions asked was amazing, said Mr G. F. Thorn, who acted as information officer on the Atlantis which arrived to-day from London. He paid the information office had been open every day except Sundays and had had a constant stream of settlers seeking details about their new country. Mr Thorn, who is returning from 18 months’ duty in the Immigration Division of New Zealand House, London, was assisted by Mr F. E. Grinlinton.
