FATAL INJURIES
PA ■ CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 14. John Campbell, quartermaster of the overseas ship Port Chalmers, was killed instantly when he fell under a railway van which was being backed on to the steamer express wharf at Lyttelton about 6.45 last night. He sufi'ered shocking injuries and the body was not identified until early this morning.
